A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong and experienced Residential Home Manager to become part of our team at Yockleton Grange, Shrewsbury.
Ideally you will be an experienced Manager with a minimum of two years managerial experience, hold either an NVQ 5 in management or hold a Registered Managers award, and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in residential home management with excellent leadership, problem solving and managerial skills. You would also have previous knowledge and experience of dementia and working with learning disabilities.
Working closely with your well-established team of staff, you will create and lead a vision for the home. You will demonstrate natural leadership skills, whilst keeping the residents at the heart in all that you do.
Your main responsibilities are to ensure person-centred care of our residents, maintaining occupancy levels, recruiting, retaining and managing your team, liaising with residents’ families and other care professionals and keeping up to date and complying with CQC and care standards.

This role would be for full time, 40 hours per week, involve an on call and weekend cover if needed, and would be subject to the receipt of two satisfactory job references plus an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) background check.
