Ancillary assistants play an important role at Beech House.
You may work in any of the following areas, Housekeeping, Kitchen or in the laundry. Having a flexible approach, being able to multitask and be self motivated are all key attributes to the role.
Your Duties may include:
Maintaining excellent levels of cleanliness throughout the home, including residents bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and public areas.
Ordering and maintain stock levels for consumable cleaning materials.
Supporting the Cook in the preparation of food.
Washing up and adhering to the cleaning schedule for the kitchen.
Advising the Cook of stock requirements.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene within the kitchen.
Helping to ensure resident’s personal belongings, bedding and towels are all laundered to a high standard and in accordance with care labels.
Whilst no previous experience of working with older people is essential, as full training will be given, it is essential that you are compassionate, caring and have a desire to work in a care environment.
The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check.
