We know that sometimes the chance to spend a few days away from caring for a loved one means you can return refreshed and reinvigorated in order to carry on the great work you do.
All of our homes can offer respite services and are designed to provide a helping hand to loved ones and carers alike. Bucklow Manor Residential Home in Knutsford has a carer’s respite bed in conjunction with Local Authority.
This bed is reserved solely for the purpose of carers respite and can only be booked direct with the carer respite team at Cheshire East Council.
Our respite holiday care and day clubs can offer you or a loved one the opportunity to meet new people, have a change of scenery and even try and learn new skills and activities if you so wish.
Some people choose to just spend some time with us during the day but if they chose to stay with us residents will have their own room which can be personalised with familiar objects and family photographs. Of course friends and family are always welcome to drop in anytime to visit.
Our vast experience in offering respite holiday care coupled with the clinical excellence we deliver every day means we can support stays for those living with dementia, reduced mobility and general nursing or residential needs.
Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your needs or to arrange for a loved one to experience one of our stays.
We know that living with dementia can be challenging, which means it requires the highest standards of care. Our main focus This approach aims to reduce anxiety and stress and focus on an individual’s personal needs.
Our core services are residential or nursing care. The people that benefit from these services may be those who are not as mobile as they once were or may need help with everyday tasks such as washing and dressing.
