Welcome to our beautifully newly refurbished home, Henning Hall. This care home opened in September for people who require nursing care, general residential care and EMI residential care. We offer permanent placements as well as day care, end of life and palliative care.
With our new virtual tour, you can explore Henning Hall from the comfort of your own home. Just click here to start your journey in reception or if you’re looking for a specific location, click one of the links below:
Our nursing care is for people who need a qualified nursing care team available to them 24 hours a day. Our residential care is ideal for frail older people that would benefit from additional care and support, but without the need for specialist nursing or dementia care. Whether you care for a relative or are in need of care yourself, taking a break from your usual routine can do the world of good.
We will undertake a full assessment of support needs prior to admission for any resident which may be in the person’s own home or hospital setting. This is important for us to do so we can be sure we can support people appropriately. Each resident will have their own care plan which is compiled with input from the resident, family and friends and this plan is reviewed and updated regularly. Included in this would be information on likes/dislikes, life history including previous employment, hobbies, places visited as this can really help promote positive memories for people in conversation.
The Home team will also be supported by community services such as GP, dietitian, tissue viability nurse and other teams. Our well trained team at Henning Hall work in a person-centred way ensuring good standards of care, whilst promoting choice, dignity and independence for all in our care.
The home is set in its own grounds and is a grade 2 listed building with 58 bedrooms. Spacious gardens offer people lots of places to sit, chat, exercise or help growing vegetables and plants.
Remaining active is important for us all and our activity programme is designed to meet the needs, hobbies and particular interests of the individuals who live with us. Our new sensory room will provide a haven of peace and relaxation for people that can make use of this.
We have three different units within the Home and all have their own lounge and dining area.

I qualified as a nurse in February 1995 ( DipHE RNLD) at Chester University.
As a care home manager I believe we are privileged to have the opportunity to meet and know the people who stay at Henning Hall. The home is beautifully decorated to make you feel welcome. My goal is to work in partnership with the people who use our service along with their families and friends so they feel at home and at ease to live life to their best possible fullness, maximising their abilities.
I have 23 years experience working with older adults living with reduced physical health and/or dementia. 12 years of my experience has been in management of a Care Home. I achieved good CQC reports previously and I always aim through continual development to build a strong, committed team to promote good all round experience for the people who use our services.

The safety and wellbeing of our residents, visitors and staff, will always be our priority and from the onset of the pandemic, Springcare implemented processes to ensure our homes remained as safe as they possibly could be. In addition to robust infection control measures, staff training and the use of PPE, you will be aware that all of our homes participate in…
