Cupcake Day at Kingscourt Nursing Home

Kingscourt Nursing Home in Chester had a successful Cupcake Day yesterday raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society. They raised £85.00 in donations and would like to thank everyone who donated and to the residents, staff and relatives who put an amazing effort into making the delicious cupcakes!

Residents at The Cedars receive a visit from Marty the Shetland Pony

Residents at The Cedars received a visit from Marty, a Shetland Pony this week. Shetland ponies are being invited into care homes around the county to provide therapy for dementia patients and other residents. Marty received lots of attention and and was very well behaved during his visit.

Kingscourt celebrate D Day

Kingscourt were busy making cakes to celebrate D Day yesterday. Our residents enjoyed watching the service and toasted the soldiers lost with a sherry at lunchtime. On Thursday 13th June, they are holding a Cupcake Day in aid of the Alzheimer’s society.
