Residents from Newton Hall had a Christmas trip out to Lady Heyes, Nearly all of our residents went on the trip, where they enjoyed a Christmas buffet and a fantastic singer who helped us to really get into the Christmas spirit, and up dancing. Families also came along and joined in with them.

Newton Hall Healthcare assistant gets married

One of Newton Hall’s Healthcare assistants recently got married. Nikita asked if some of our residents would like to see her celebrating her big day. Our residents did not need an excuse to get dressed up thoroughly enjoyed the day. They handmade Nikita a canvas wishing her the best. Thanks Nikita for such a lovely gesture.

Residents at The Cedars make Christingles

Residents at the Cedars Nursing Home in Albrighton enjoyed making Christingles, playing Christmas Bingo and carolling. Staff also raised money for Save The Children by getting involved in Christmas jumper day.’

Residents at Kingscourt enjoyed an afternoon of decorating the Christmas trees for the home last week. For this tree, they have chosen a lovely colour scheme of pink and silver’.

Residents at Cedars Nursing home wrote Christmas cards for their families and helped to write cards for our residents that may not be able to write their own. They also had a play on the old ivories.

The Cedars held their very own Elf Day and it turned out to be a huge success. Home made cakes, name the elf and an elf raffle all helped to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society. River Meadows held a special Christmas treat for their residents today – It was Panto time! Partytime Productions performed Jack and the Beanstalk in the garden view lounge to a great reception from residents and staff!
