Our tempting home-cooked meals feature fresh, seasonal ingredients, with menus changed every three months. There’s always a choice of dishes, and your food will be prepared to meet your individual needs and preferences (including cultural diets). In the unlikely event there’s nothing on the menu you fancy, the chef will do their best to find an alternative. You can choose to eat in your room if you wish.
You can ask for a hot drink whenever you want one, and you’ll have a jug of water or squash in your room at all times.
All Springcare homes feature the same weekly menus, put together by Springcare’s Catering Manager. Experienced in catering for the needs of care home residents, the cook plans every dish carefully to ensure a tasty blend of ingredients and flavours and a nutritionally well-balanced diet.
We work hard to make every mealtime a sociable and relaxing occasion – the TV goes off, and housework stops. If you need assistance with eating or drinking, our staff will be there to help. We also ask visitors to avoid visiting during mealtime hours – except on special occasions of course, when we’re happy to invite families in to dine with their loved ones.
