Kingscourt have introduced a Toy Box for children at the home who come to visit our residents. What a lovely idea and definitely one that will be very appreciated by our younger visitors in future.

A bumper crop at The Cedars veggie garden

A sunny afternoon was spent at The Cedars in Albrighton, planting our seedlings and watering our newly established veggie garden. One of the homes Nurses, Lisa is celebrating her first successful courgettes grown in our new veggie garden!

Windy Knowe celebrate summer at their summer fete

Windy Knowe are holding their Summer Fayre on Saturday 3rd August, 2-5pm.(CH43 6US) Everyone is welcome so come along with enjoy the activities. There will be entertainment from Bert at 3pm, and Donkeys at 4pm. If anyone has any donations that can be put towards the Tombola, raffle and brick a brack stalls, it would be gratefully appreciated.

Newton Hall postcard project

Newton Hall have started a postcard project with the good people of Frodsham who are sending post cards from their holidays to our residents, who enjoy both reading and looking at the places people have visited. Some local schools have pledged to take part and the children will be sending cards from their summer holidays. Here are some that we’ve already received.
