Here at Springcare, we are passionate about food and we believe in having the very best ingredients for our catering teams to create and display first class, balanced, nutritious and appealing food for a wide range of palates. We feel that mealtimes are an extremely important time for our residents, and it is imperative that our cooks are all talented individuals.
We are also committed to working with local suppliers and try to ensure and implement that our food is of an excellent quality and is sourced locally, seasonally and sustainably, adapting the new menu as each season moves on to keep it fresh and appealing for our residents.
We have, over the past few months, worked on introducing a new menu across all the homes, a menu that champions home cooked, honest, good old-fashioned favourites and more importantly, a wholesome and balanced diet, which we aim to influence an enjoyable mealtime experience for all our residents. Each of our homes has the opportunity to make the new menus their own, by adding individual choices to the menus, focused on the local areas the homes are located, individual likes and dislikes.
Our catering manager oversees all the kitchen’s and supports new chefs starting with us to achieve our expected standards.
