Windy Knowe Nursing Home Autumn Newsletter

Once again the family of Mrs Audrey Cohen have come up trumps in transforming our first floor dining room. The refurbishment is based on a vintage style tea room but still functions as a dining area. Christmas Grotto at Beech House Nursing Home

Residents and staff have been very busy preparing for the Christmas period ahead, making decorations and going out on shopping trips to buy more decorations. Sue O’Neil (Activities Coordinator) and Pat Amos (Administrator) have been particularly busy building our Christmas Grotto. Judy Freeman Wins Carer Award at the Pride of Shropshire Awards Ceremony

Male voice choir help high-flyer Ralph mark his centenary in style! Most 100 year olds get a card from the Queen, but not many are serenaded by a choir. Mrs Rainbow celebrates her 100th Birthday

Davenham Hall and The Barns celebrated the landmark birthdays of three of its residents. Hilda Rigby known to many as Mrs Rainbow celebrated her 100th birthday with friends and two fellow centenarians. The two fellow centenarians joined Mrs Rainbow to celebrate, Eileen Edwards, who turned 100 on Christmas Eve and Doris Finney, who turned 100 on November 12th.
