Yockleton Grange is a residential home for the elderly and learning disabilities over the age 55 which offers high dependency level of care. We have comfortable standard of accommodation which offers a wide range of facilities for 30 residents with the advantages of large beautiful landscaped gardens.
General Information:
Yockleton Grange is situated in the picturesque village of Yockleton, 6 miles West of Shrewsbury. The facilities are set in a large two-storey house with 28 bedrooms and a further 2 bedrooms in the Mews.
Social Activities:
There are regular activities and visiting entertainers within the home.There is an Activities Coordinator employed in the Home who offers a wide range of activities and craftwork.The Activities Coordinator also plans regular outings and events with the use of our mini-bus.
Services:
All services that our residents need to fulfil their lives are arranged at Yockleton Grange:These include Clergy Visits, Chiropodist, Hairdressers.At meal times there is an extensive menu offered daily.In the unlikely event that there is nothing offered on the menu that appeals to you, our excellent Chef will do his best to meet your requirements.Special diets are catered for. Our Nursing Staff will liaise with the dietetics department at the local hospital and advise the Chef accordingly.
Philosophy of Care:To ensure a homely environment, combined with the highest quality of care.Staff will preserve the dignity, individuality and privacy of each individual.Residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their individual Care Plans along with the involvement of family and friends.
