| General Information: Part of the Home began life as an 1840's farmhouse providing features such as the dining room inglenook and traditional sash windows. After a complete renovation of the old building and a new extension, the Home accommodated 26 residents. In 2001, a new single story building was added, providing space for another 18 residents in single rooms. There are a number of lounge areas where residents have the opportunity to catch up on the day-to-day gossip or simply relax and enjoy the tranquil meadow views.
