We have three specialised care homes within the Wirral which offer residential, nursing and EMI care. Our Nursing Homes Wirral

Oxton Grange Nursing Home is set in Bidston, within close distance of one of our other homes, Windy Knowe. Oxton Grange offers high quality care in a purpose built home with communal areas on every floor. The rooms have en-suite facilities and residents are more than welcome to bring their own furniture to decorate their room exactly how they would like. Windy Knowe Nursing Home is our second Wirral home, which again offers nursing, residential and EMI care for all ages. Windy Knowe dates back to 1903 and retains the original architecture of the building to promote a high quality and professional atmosphere. This nursing home again offers many communal areas and even has a quiet room for one to one meetings to respect the resident’s privacy. The final of our Nursing homes in the Wirral is Westwood Hall. This is a nursing home set on 2 floors and offers a wide range of care for all. All of our homes also offer respite care for those wishing to visit for a short while, and our nursing homes also support care for Elderly, Mentally Ill, Dementia patients including Alzheimer's , Continually Health care funded clients, and Nursing care.

We fully appreciate that the decision to enter a Residential Care Setting may be a difficult decision and advise all clients to view more than one Home and ask lots of questions. At our homes all of our staff are totally committed to doing everything possible to assist residents to settle happily into their surroundings. We aim to provide a quality service which will meet both the residents and families needs, recognise our clients as unique individuals, safeguard them from all forms of abuse and assist them to maintain their independence for as long as is possible.

Our Wirral Care Home Staff

Qualified nurses with a special interest in working with the older person are on duty 24hrs a day and our Health Care Assistants are trained to deliver the highest standards of care and service. Many of them have, or are working toward an NVQ qualification in Direct Care and are actively encouraged to achieve this.

Our Nursing Homes in the Wirral also offer regular activities, days out and entertainment in the homes. Dentists, Hairdressers and Chiropodists are also present throughout most of our Wirral homes to ensure every client has the best experience possible and feels at home. The activities coordinator in each Wirral Nursing home is responsible for organising events for all clients and has a weekly Rota to ensure many social activities are offered to all that like to attend.
